Ollie’s Ocean Clean Up is an edutainment application designed for children. This application teaches children about the environmental impacts of ocean pollution. According to Plastic Oceans the Academy of Science estimated that 14 billion pounds of garbage was being dumped into the ocean every year. That’s more than 1.5 million pounds of trash per hour. In the application Ollie the orca will assist you in customizing your profile, providing information about the detrimental impacts of ocean pollution, while teaching children about the zones of the ocean and some of the animals that live there! The design solution for this edutainment application is colorful with a round illustration style, that will keep children interested at the topic at hand. The recycling poster will encourage children to recycle their trash and keep track of how much they can recycle. While the t-shirt, and bag, is a friendly reminder, to ditch single use plastic, and encourage recycling
